How to Set Up KTB on Your Apple Device

This guide explains how KTB works and walks you through installing your first app – Kodi, Stremio or Nuvio – on an Apple TV, iPhone or iPad. You do not need a computer.

Before you start

  • Apple TV HD or Apple TV 4K with tvOS 16 or later, or an iPhone / iPad with iOS / iPadOS 16 or later. Individual apps may need a newer system or specific hardware.
  • A KTB subscription for this device – each device needs its own subscription.
  • A stable internet connection.

Not sure your device is supported? Ask us before purchasing.

Step 1 – Choose your subscription

Select a KTB plan for the Apple device you want to use. Current prices and any available trial options are shown in the purchase options.

Step 2 – Install the KTB management profile

Open the Installation Guide and follow the steps for your device. You will install the KTB management profile and then accept the KTB app installation.

A profile is a settings file that lets our service arrange app installation on your device. Read the management information your device shows before accepting.

iPhone: open the downloaded profile and tap Install. It is signed by koditvbox.tv.

Step 3 – Open KTB and choose your app

When KTB appears on your Home Screen, open it and select Kodi, Stremio, Nuvio or another available app. Choose Download & Install and follow the prompts. Keep KTB open while the app installs – large apps can take longer.

Using KTB on each device

  • Apple TV HD / Apple TV 4K: browse KTB with your remote.
  • iPhone: download and install apps directly on your phone.
  • iPad: KTB uses a layout designed for the larger screen.

Renewals and keeping apps working

  • Signing profiles expire, and apps may need to be signed and installed again, typically as part of the annual renewal. You can check the date under Account › Signing Profile Expires in KTB.
  • Certificate revocation or other changes can occasionally require reinstalling earlier.
  • Do not remove the KTB management profile – removing it can remove managed apps and their data.
  • Keep a backup or record of your app settings and favourites.

Moving to a new device

Each subscription covers one device. If you replace your Apple TV, iPhone or iPad, use Transfer your subscription to a new device.
