Troubleshooting KTB, Kodi, Stremio and Nuvio

Most problems with apps installed by KTB have a quick fix. Start with the checklist, then find your problem below. If you are still stuck, submit a support ticket.

Quick checklist

  1. Is your subscription active? Sign in to My Account and check its status. If a renewal payment failed, update your payment method and pay the renewal.
  2. Is the KTB management profile still installed? On iPhone / iPad, look in Settings › General › VPN & Device Management. On Apple TV, check the profiles section in Settings (its location varies by tvOS version). Removing the profile can remove managed apps and their data.
  3. Is your device up to date and online? KTB needs tvOS / iOS / iPadOS 16 or later and an internet connection to install or update apps.
  4. Check when signing expires. In KTB, open Account › Signing Profile Expires.
  5. Reinstall the app from KTB. Select it and choose Download & Install. This fixes most problems.

“App is no longer available” or the app has expired

Apps installed outside the App Store must be signed. If the signature is no longer valid, the app will not open and your device may say it is no longer available. Signing profiles expire – typically as part of the annual renewal – and certificate revocation or other changes can occasionally require reinstalling earlier.

  1. Check your subscription in My Account, and the date under Account › Signing Profile Expires in KTB.
  2. Open KTB and reinstall the app.
  3. If KTB itself will not open, reinstall the KTB profile by following the Installation Guide.

App will not open after I renewed

After a renewal, open KTB and reinstall the app so it picks up the new signature. If it still will not open, restart your device and try again.

The KTB profile was removed

If you removed the profile (or reset your device), apps installed by KTB stop working. Reinstall the profile by following the Installation Guide, then reinstall your apps from KTB. Your subscription is not affected.

Installation is stuck or fails

  • Make sure you have enough free storage on the device.
  • Check your internet connection, then try again.
  • Keep KTB open while the app installs – large apps can take longer.
  • Restart the device and start the installation again from KTB.

I moved to a new Apple TV, iPhone or iPad

Each subscription covers one device. Use Transfer your subscription to a new device, then follow the Setup Guide on the new device.

Kodi

  • Kodi crashes after a tvOS / iOS update: install the latest Kodi version from KTB.
  • Kodi settings are missing after reinstalling: restore the backup you made before reinstalling. See the Kodi guide for backup tips.
  • Third-party add-ons or builds do not work: we do not provide or support add-ons, repositories or builds.

Stremio

  • Cannot sign in: check your Stremio email and password on another device. On Apple TV you can type using the keyboard notification on your iPhone.
  • Library or progress not syncing: sign in to the same Stremio account on every device.
  • Problems with add-ons or content sources: these are outside KTB’s support; we install the app only.

Nuvio

  • Crashes on launch after an update: delete Nuvio from the Home Screen and install it again from KTB.
  • A feature changed or moved: Nuvio is under active development – check the developer’s release notes.
  • Problems with add-ons or content sources: these are outside KTB’s support; we install the app only.
